Tried that at work a little bit today (I know--do or do not, there is no try), especially as teaching can be a very isolating profession with the long hours and boundaries I need to keep with students.
Saw 2 cute colleagues as I was leaving: Me: "Bye ladies" Her: "Bye [Bo]". Honestly felt nice to have the interaction and it's ironic that I'd be more okay with this woman calling me by first name than the W.
