BL 42, as far as the amicable statement. We just dont need to fight, no reason to.. What will it do? Nothing.. Anytime we talk, its business. No relationship stuff etc.
My youngest is just being herself, and more looking out for her Mom, I believe. The guy is in late 50/early 60? Never married, no kids. Not rich, just a salesman for medical equipment. Drives a cheap Honda. Practical. She hasnt said anything to me, it was the oldest saying it. Just drama..
Its not going to steer my ex back to me, even if I did want it.
The divorce sheds so much light on the past.. She may be down and out right now financially due to real estate market. And she is having a relationship with a man. She has moved on. It is what it is. And as I remember and see more of it, it is in my best to not entertain a reconcile in my head.
I am sure I will hear more from the kids, I think it is just in their nature to tell me things..
The dating apps here are interesting. Once I figured out how to make browser use my actual location. VPN, even if not logged in is locked in closed location, so Atlanta was constantly giving me hits. Made it to where it wont turn on upon windows starting. Voila, I am in SC.'
I was surprised at amount of hits I got. Little self esteem goes a long ways.
I am going to see where the lady is in her life and start conversing with her more. Just discovery.
I know she is well educated based off of her career and who her clients were in Mass.

So did I...for more than a decade. Thought being practical and fiscally responsible was the way to go. After separation I upgraded big time ;-)

Yep. Not your monkeys...

I'll share with you the quote from a longtime poster in the MLC board who came back recently, which I also shared with Pack_19 who's also having a tough time moving on after years:

If it's not serving you, it's reasonable to request they don't share the details.

So Mach...I think most people are using smartphone apps these days, not internet browsers on their laptops!

I'm sure that was validating.

Good! Nothing wrong with some conversation and perhaps some flirting at this point.

Ex sent me a text, wishing I have a good Christmas. I responded, you too.
And then she responded she worries about me. I have not responded, not sure what the hell that means.
Everything as of late has just been business, in reality..

I wouldn’t respond any further to her text. You’ll get drawn into a back and forth which will go nowhere. She wished you a good holiday and you responded in kind. No further discussion needed.

Good Morning M

I agree with Dawn. No need to get drawn into some back and forth with XW.

That sounds like a fun day. Have a wonderful time, and hope your daughter enjoys her day. How can she not. Dad, horses, outside, playing with animals. You’ll have to pry her away to go home.

Temperature taking. Are you still her Plan B? She wants to know. Plus, if you’re miserable without her, it’s a boost to her ego.
