Still here trucking along doing pretty good all things considered. Another friend lost his son tragically last month. That was really tough. Supported my friends and went to the memorial.

Work and family and friendships are going well. Remaining very close with my kids and taking space for myself and giving them room to be as well and they keep wanting to hang out and create memories with me.

Just played in a softball tournament on D and BF’s team.

Like i read from some of the others on here, I have also been taking care of lots of repairs and home maintenance this spring.

Good Morning Rock

I am sorry there has been another tragic loss within your circle of friends and family. My condolences.

Do keep trucking along. Glad you and the kids are creating memories. As well as you carving out some time for yourself.

Was the softball tournament over the Father’s Day weekend? I’m sure you had a blast. Hope you weren’t too sore the next day(s). smile

Have a great day Rock!

D

Yes father’s day weekend. And quite sore yes for sure. Felt a hamstring whining at me as I ran out a ground ball early on but managed fine.

Hi Kind. I’m doing pretty good. I’ve been keeping it pretty simple these days. Enjoying summer: some camping, lots of outdoors time in the garden, lakes, rivers and mountains. Bought a mountain bike and have a group of friends who ride - I’m a beginner all over again.

Otherwise, focused on being healthy, looking after my son, working and connecting with family and friends. Working on buying her out of the house.

I haven’t either Rock. Not sure if I should or not. I’m in a good place financially, finally, and am trying to put as much money as possible into being debt free. Getting close. I think eventually I will buy another old car. Thinking maybe I’m afraid of getting hurt at this point in life. Having said that, I could also buy a bike tomorrow 😁 Who knows.

Yeah I have adjusted my sights and timeline. I am out of debt but it’s a bit tenuous of I’m not frugal. The mtn bike was the right call right now for me.
