W texted asking if I had time for a call. We spoke on the phone. I let her know I had five minutes. We compared notes on youngest S’s health needs and that was constructive.
Then she spoke about Christmas and expressed hurt feelings that our kids spent all kinds of time through the holidays with me and she got an hour of family Christmas. She said it seems like no one wants to be with her. She sounded sad like she was crying.
I validated and said I needed to go. And I had a great day after that with S.
